SPAN 4160: Spanish for Int'l Business II
In this essay, I explore the concept of a "meta-leader", reflect on my potential to be this type of leader, and examine the specific attributes of this title that I exemplify in my personal and professional life.
SPAN 3020: Intermediate Spanish Grammar and Composition
This short essay is an editorial piece that was part of a website that I created alongside my peers. The website's central theme was technology, and this essay analyzes the history, effects, and possible consequences of Elon Musk's Neuralink device.
Culture/Literature Competency
SPAN 4070: Hispanic Film
This essay explores Spanish family dynamics through the lens of Spanish cinema. I wrote this essay during my study abroad program, and it showcases my ability to analyze Spanish culture through film.
SPAN 3070: The Hispanic World: Spain
In this paper, I analyze the works of famed Spanish painter Francisco de Zurbarán. Written during my time in Spain, this essay demonstrates my ability to culturally analyze Spanish works of art in the Spanish language.
Business Competency
ENGL 3040: Business Writing
This document serves as the culmination of a semester-long project: a strategic business plan for a local small business. Utilizing my prior business knowledge and the specific writing skills I acquired in this course, I created a highly detailed and well-organized business plan.
MGT 4230: Int'l Business Management
Another semester-long project, in which I worked with four of my peers to create a strategic plan for a company looking to enter a new market. In this case, we were responsible for creating a comprehensive plan for IKEA's entry into the New Zealand market. I contributed to every section of the paper, and created and formatted the entire bibliography.
